Blue Skies

Despite the beautiful blue sky in my blip, for most of the day it was raining, with a little sleet and snow thrown in. After a day in the kitchen making marmalade, flapjack, bread and dinner the sun came out and I just had time for a short walk before getting the children from school.

It was church parade night for J, and his Beaver group we're singing a song, and doing the promise in makaton. They did really well considering they hadn't done it for a week.

My evening was spent at our local social club at a planning meeting for Totally Locally Saltaire, a marketing and branding campaign that we are planning on using here. We had a good turn out with a mix of local business owners, and local residents who are keen to get involved and lots of enthusiasm which is a good start.
