Eerie Evening
The sequel to last night's blip.
Only more particulate matter in the air.....
Another very warm day with the pungent smell of smoke and the yellow haze of daylight...
Turning to the blue/grey atmosphere of evening.... come closer
No sunset tonight....just the faint glow of a red orb with no circumference.
This is the aftermath for us of the not so distant fires that now thankfully are mostly contained, under control or out!
Still forecast for more hot days ahead but with the promise of showers over the next three.
May they fall to the most advantage.
I might conclude by saying this has been the experience of our land for 200 years since European settlement....
and for 1000's of years prior for our indigenous people.
And the water in the foreground of my blip is due to a small soak beside the track.
