Yo!

I got up very early and managed to be on time for the Sleeper as it rolled into Euston. Rory and Mum were in good form as they stepped into the city. It's Rory's birthday weekend - he was 25 yesterday - and he had plans for his epic London trip.

The weather was forecasted to be rubbish today, so I put off any outdoor stuff until tomorrow. As a surprise, I booked us all to see "Quidam" by the Cirque du Soleil at the Royal Albert Hall. Our seats were excellent - the front of a loggia box. The show was funny in parts but overall we were awestruck by the performers' show of strength, flexibility, and amazing balance. The skipping was fabulous.

We went to Yo! Sushi afterwards and had a lot of fun picking dishes to eat. This morning we'd watched the episode of Miranda where her necklace gets trapped in the conveyor belt. That did not happen to us!
