Dusting

The roads last night were, to be frank, crappy!
I went to get my car from the garage and although the gritters had been out at 4pm, I am unconvinced that they were actually spreading grit! I walked the dogs at half 8 and slid on my backside on the road (thankfully it was pitch black and no one could see met red face!) before heading to collect my car. Not a bit if grit was in sight. This morning, the gritters were out - as you can see the road was less crappy!

As I went into town I saw the most rediculous thing I've seen the council doing - gritter on the road, followed by a street sweeper?!!!! Pointless and a huge waste of grit!
