Preparing for Liftoff...

Saw this rather nicely coloured Pheasant sitting on an old litchin covered gate, he was obviously trying to asses whither I was a threat or not, he quickly made up his mind and departed with a great screaching of the breaks. This is the time of year we seem to be inandated with them, not to mention the slaughter on the roads, I counted 26 one day in a streach of no more than a mile....
