Very, very windy

Here today - gusts of up to 70mph recorded; our back fence has blown away and a large portion of brick wall at the bottom of the garden has collapsed, but we count ourselves very lucky its not worse.

Its my day off and I had planned to go out but only made it to the hairdressers and back, after which I stayed put at home and watched the carnage taking place around us.

I've got the candles out and cooking dinner early before the power goes off.
