Cold Old Glory

Windblown, wet, then frozen in place. I've flown a flag on this pole for many years. This is the first time I've seen it so contorted.

Symbolic of the shape of our nation?

Weather forecasters predicted a snowy mix. We received more freezing rain than snow in this wave and more wintery weather is in the immediate future. The pantry is fairly stocked and there's propane in the tank. If only the power stays on we'll be in better shape than a lot of people.
