No Thank You Mr Swan

Well I think we have had four seasons in one day today!

I had various tasks to do in a local town today, which also included a nice coffee and cake with Little Miss Curly Locks in a well known chain that seems to be taking over the world. We then decided to have a quick walk along the river before the rain started, to see if we could see any ducks. No ducks were to be found but lots of swans. There was an elderly gentleman feeding the birds (tuppence a bag!) and there was a dove sitting on his hand, so I quickly got my camera out, plucked up some courage, and asked if he wouldn't mind me taking his photograph while feeding the birds. He just smiled, and said that he had no food left and walked away. Ah well, we can but ask! meanwhile, I hear a little voice saying "no thank you Mr Swan" as a very inquisitive 'Mr Swan' took an over familiar interest in my daughter. Knowing how, exuberant swans can be, I made sure she was at a safe distance, but he persisted, again "no thank you Mr Swan" so I got down on my knees next to her and shot him with my camera!
Oh... he liked that and actually posed quite a few times as if to say ... this is my best side...how do I look. So here we have my Blip for today, Mr Swan, ready for his close up Mr DeVille!

As Mr C had an afternoon off work, I set to to complete a task, job, chore, headache! thats been post-ited on my wall for quite some time... I am pleased to say its done and a huge weight is off my shoulders.

I also managed to get out for a 7 mile run this afternoon, while there was a little break in the weather. Just in time I might add for the heavens opened and pummelled the glass box with hailstones for a good 10 minutes. Then abruptly stopped, followed by a bit of thunder and lightening. Now I don't mind running in rain or snow, but hailstones...no thank you.
