Anti-Camouflage
Euan and I took a walk down by the River Devon and River Forth today. It's becoming a regular thing on a Saturday for us; out on a photowalk, me trying to get a blip in, him trying to find somewhere new to explore or something new to experience.
Today though, he was a bit distracted with his ipod, trying to learn the words to the new Flight of the Conchords album. As I watched the herons and the geese, the cormorants and the swans, he was in a little world of his own singing along to "I've Got Hurt Feelings" whilst shaking his shammy. It certainly amused the guy walking his dog nearby anyhow.
Our intention was to try and catch some salmon leaping up the weir (catch as in photograph - I think 'catching' them might be classed as poaching!), but the wee man down there told us it had been quiet and we'd have better luck at high tide. He also told us about the Otters down there too that sometimes follow the salmon up the river early in the morning, so that's something else to add to the blip bank.
I think Euan's anti-camouflage jacket might have scared off the wildlife too - a trip to Arctic Tundra and he'll fit right in. Maybe next Saturday.
