Car park
A bit stormy today. I was supposed to meet one of the guys from the music group at 11:00 but postponed because of the miserable, blustery, wet weather. As it happened, things eased off and I could have kept my appointment without any difficulty, so I still feel a bit guilty about that.
Being already wound up to go in to town, I waited until the wind had died down and in I went anyway. I parked in Trinity Street car park, which is a really handy spot. When I got out of the car on the second floor I was greeted with streaming sunshine spilling onto the floor and the ceiling and doing all sorts of wonderful things. The highlight area on the floor is blown out, but apart from that this captures the moment reasonably well.
I had a bite to eat in Powerscourt Townhouse and paid a visit to a book shop on Grafton Street before coming back home. By this time, the wind had wound itself up again, and the rain was back. Now it's nighttime and the gale which has been playing havoc with things for the past few hours has finally died down. We get off lightly here, but I do pity our unfortunate country cousins in the west and south of the country who've been getting the brunt of it for the past six weeks or so.
And still the skeptics say insist we're not experiencing climate change.
