Kodak Super 8 Movie Camera
This is a rather basic movie camera badged as "Instamatic". The new "Super 8" film was in a nice cartridge as a continuous 50-foot length, unlike standard 8, which came as 25 feet of 16 mm wide film, that had to be turned and rethreaded after the first side had been exposed, then cut down the middle and the two halves spliced together by the processor.
Note the metal insert sticking out of the top; this is inserted to move the orange filter out of the light path, and removed to move it back in again. This is a very basic form of what we now call "white balance"; previously, you could buy two type of colour film, one for use in daylight and the other in artificial light.
It actually gave pretty good results, unlike the last one I posted.
