February Challenge - L

Day 12 of DDW's February daily challenge and an occasional dip into Bobsbitz59's Technique challenge - L

As a resident of Luton who works in London I had plenty of choice for L today. So I went for something different from a straight town/city shot, but also something very like a lot of pictures from the UK in here lately - a Lake. This one is slightly different though, as a man-made lake it is most definitely intended to be there, unlike a lot of the water around at the moment it is where man has decided it should be. It is supplied by the rain from the roofs of the buildings and used for watering the plants in the business park. It's level is also maintained quite well, although in summertime it can get lower, but it has not risen much during all the recent rain. Presumably, the excess is allowed to drain off and go and flood somewhere else!
