Pain!

When the specialist says to you " This is about as painful as it gets", brace yourself. I don't know what childbirth is like but I can tell that for short term extreme pain, get a local anaesthetic in the tip of your nose. Ouch!

I have a skin cancer on the end of my nose. No big deal. Australian doctors are very well geared up for this sort of thing. I have to get a cosmetic surgeon to remove it because there is more below the surface. Apparently he will take some skin from behind my ear to cover the damage. Lovely.

I have opted for a general anaesthetic for the procedure. Pain just isn't me.
