Colours and Haze
Today was a good day. Damian and I have both been busy doing our own thing lately (screenwriting/ job searching) so even though we've been in the same house all day every day for the last week, we haven't had much time being 'us'. So today we had an 'us' day. We slept in, cooked ourselves a delicious hot breakfast then rode into Melbourne Museum to make good use of the perks of me being a volunteer - free entry to the 007 Gallery and free IMAX tickets! We also enjoyed lunch on Lygon Street.
The ride into the city at midday was somewhat of a solemn sight as the city was blanketed with a decent layer of smoke from the bush fires burning around other parts of the state. It is a massive contrast to the clear blue skies we have had in the last few weeks. I took this photo because I liked the contrast of the colourful wall against the dreary sky behind.
Two back blips today:
1) Yesterday - some amusing street art
2) South America - Colca Canyon
