Chicken & Waffles

I went on a date with this beauty tonight to Dame's Chicken & Waffles, which we've heard wonderful things about. Truth be told, I was skeptical of the idea of eating fried chicken and waffles. What do those foods have to do with each other? But I don't know if we were just starving or if I really have been missing out on this delicacy, but it.was.delicious. Even the chicken came in a heart shape...how can you not love that?
