Sitting pretty

But we weren't sitting out on this garden chair today! At times the sun has shone, and there is a bit of warmth there now, but there is a chill wind and we have also had a short deluge with hail thrown in too. It must be so hard, if one is in a situation vulnerable to flooding, to see the rain start again. As always, thoughts go out to all the people in the flood stricken areas, some not too far away from here.
The pretty chair is in the front garden of the house where I play Mah-jong in Guildford. We enjoyed our session this morning but quite a few of the games didn't come out because we were all competing for the same tiles. It sometimes happens like that, and it is very frustrating! But we'll meet again in a month's time and start all over again.
