Daffodils on the Table in February

Surely vases of daffodils in the house at this time of year sing of the coming spring and touch our hearts with joy and gladness.

We hardly needed the daffodils to brighten our day when lunch with JoppaStrand and Tiggy, had the same effect on us.
We met in town and ate well, laughed well, chatted well and caught up with news from Qatar, a land far removed physically and culturally from our own.

It was a delightful meet up, and so enjoyable it was hard to say goodbye, knowing that Qatar is beckoning once more and we won't see them again until the summer.
