Me and my New Baby

Having taken my car to the next village this morning for a service I was walking back home when I came across this little cutie. This is the first one I have seen - so white, clean and small it must have been born in the last 48 hours. The mother has a problem and can only walk on three legs so I hope the little one survives. Soon there will be a lot more. The lamb wasn't phased by me at all - but of course the mother as always was nervous.

What really annoys me is that the sheep are left to their own devices and only have the grass to eat and this is not growing at the moment. At least a little bit of hay is put out for the Dartmoor ponies.
