Tradeston Footbridge
I was down by the River Clyde early this morning as commuters were making their way to work, and yes there was some sunshine.
This is officially known as the Tradeston-Broomielaw Bridge, the structure's unusual S-shape has led locals to dub it the Squiggly Bridge - following in the footsteps of the squinty bridge just along the river.
The bridge was opened in May 2009 at a cost of £7m. It links the successful International Financial Services District (IFSD) with newly developing Tradeston area on the south bank. The bridge is part of a large project to regenerate the Broomielaw and Tradeston.
