Brighter

6.5C starting dull then brightening up around lunchtime. Wind speeds reached 30mph with gusts to 49mph.

Maeve the Deerhound and I went for our walk after lunch. We went down to the shore road then along to the level crossing. It was high tide so there wasn't much beach left to walk along. The wind was strong down on the sand, which was blowing along towards us. We passed another dog walker as we headed for the fishermen's huts. He said he felt as if he was being blown along.

We wandered up by the huts, then along past the cottages to the car park where I took this blip. Then we headed back up the road to get out of the wind.
