What captures your eye..

and why?

I drive past this gate often and it always catches my eye.. but today more so because of the way the light was hitting it. It is probably on its last legs really.. on close inspection the wood is very rotten and the paint falling off so when it finally collapses I wonder if it will be replaced by a dull metal one.. in the meantime my blip will act as a record of its existence.

I am sure most people drive straight past not even noticing it.. I wonder what makes it stand out for me?
