Tropical morning
It does make me smile to have a Palm tree in my garden. Especially in un-balmy Northern Ireland at a latitude of 54 North! This morning the Sun was rising in a lovely golden sky, with blue-blue above. It looked gorgeous, but was only 2 degrees above freezing!
I hope the dry spell lasts until tomorrow. Our sixth form are having a fancy-dress fun run in aid of a charity called Charlene's Project. One of my colleagues has created a wondrous spider costume, so I have stepped up to be her Miss Muffet. I have just bought a very fetching pink satin shower cap in Boots, so I'm all set! I may pass on the curds and whey, though. Perhaps I could fire a couple of baby-bels in a dish? I could carry a large spoon, at any rate, ready to eat anything promising en route....
There is a coffee shop half way around the planned route and I had hoped to slope off for a quick brew, but I reckon a large spider and a lady of a certain age wearing a pink shower cap may be a tad out of place. But hey, it 's Bangor, so maybe not!
