Miracle
In the sodden, windswept garden
Tormented by gales
Hundreds of miracles occur
As through the heavy soil
Snowdrops reach for the light
And provide small patches of purity,
Their virginal white petals
Only enhanced by the splash of green.
And all we can do is marvel
At such a tiny and delicate
Force of nature
And be thankful.
Well, the garden proffered a lovely subject for my 200th blip on another day of being glued to the computer. I chose Miracle as the title both because of the amazing snowdrops but also because I've finally reached 200. It's been a vee-ee-ry long time acomin' but now I'm getting stuck into the 365 challenge I hope I'll see that blipday this year! Thanks to everyone who visits and comments on my journal and offers such warm blip friendship and support. You're a great bunch!
