remembrance

strikingly similar to last year's entry and i'm reasonably confident in thinking next year's will bear a strong resemblance to both.

i've not been around for a while - there are backblips to come - but this is one blip that has to be posted on the day. people are fighting and dying for us, and whether you think the fight is just or not, the men and women in uniform deserve our support. and if you can't do that, think about those who fought and died over the last century and centuries before to defend our freedoms and freedoms across the world.

there are more deserving of views and comments today - people like airborne skygod. other than via blip and facebook i don't know this guy, but even that superficial knowledge makes me listen hard every time afghanistan is in the news. glad you're home, mate, many thanks for doing a job i never want to have to do.

They shall not grow old as we who are left grow old.
