Was sorting through some bits and bobs recently and came across some stuff of my Mum's. She was heavily involved in Welsh netball when we were young, and I found lots of souvenirs of her travels abroad with the Welsh team. Much of it was generic and I've offered that to the Welsh Netball Association, but this was one piece that had her name on it so I've kept it.

I spent many a happy hour on the sidelines at Sophia Gardens, cheering on Welsh netball. Sadly I didn't inherit her talent for the game, sorry Mum!

There's a schools netball tournament in Newport named for Mum. Something to be proud of. Happy days :-)
