The bookseller's nightmare

My dear wife classifies her books in alphabetical order by the surname of the author and woe betide anyone carelessly replacing a book! After a nearly 5 hour drive back from the Lake District followed by various family commitments it became too late and dark for a photo excursion. Eyeing the ranks of books gave me an idea for a composition. It is from a single photograph with some filtrations . . . .
