Perspective

Went for a walk around Long Pond near the University just as the sun was setting this evening. First the route takes you away from civilization up the hillside into the trees before coming back down to the shore. Then around the end of the pond and back towards the campus.

Putting some distance between yourself and the workday, on a daily basis, is a healthy practice I believe.

Took my camera along for this walk and immediately discovered the battery was a low and failing fast in the cold air. Nursed it along for the first half of the walk only to have it die as I composed this image. Whipped out my trusty iPhone and completed today's Blip.
