Killing fields

What better way to celebrate Valentines Day than to visit some Khmer Rouge killing fields, alone.

I cycled out to Choeung Ek near Phnom Penh, where thousands of people were killed during the regime. The audio tour is done very sensitively and while it's upsetting to see bones and bits of clothing sticking out of the ground, I think it's important to experience these major events in a country's history, especially if you live there.
