The biggest scariest storm yet. I didnt go out all day except for a quick nip round the garden during a dry moment. The wind was ferocious.

These sizeable pines on our boundary are almost bent double. By the end of the day two of them, and two others, were uprooted. They were seedling we gathered from the woods near Castletownsend more that 20 years ago.

The power went off at 11 this morning and didn't come back. It was a strange tense day just waiting it out.
