Hiya my Papa
Today was Lewis' christening. He is Auntie Anne's 10th grandchild. Gran and Papa (and Grandma and Grandad) have only me! I was very chatty during Mass, saying hiya to every one around me. Really I was very tired, and I fell asleep during the christening. Afterwards there was a party for Lewis in the club. Once I woke up and had some lunch, I was raring to go and had a great time. There was music, lights, bubbles and balloons. I was dancing with lots of people, including Uncles Andrew and Patrick. I was sad when Mum and Dad took me home to get my dinner, but I did get to take two balloons with me which cheered me up a bit.
Today was also Remembrance Sunday. Every year there is a short service at the war memorial outside the chapel. Papa took part and laid a wreath, because his Uncle Barney's name is on there. Barney died on 1st July 1916, on the first day of the Battle of the Somme.
