Another day...

Another hospital. Much of this week has been spent visiting Mom in the ultra modern Queen Elizabeth hospital. She was discharged yesterday. This morning saw us at one of the older hospitals in the city for my diabetic eye test. That meant an early start and some hanging around but that was all ok.

Mom's hospital experience has really disturbed her. She thought she was going to be locked away because people thought she was mad. She also has created some very bizarre stories about what happened to her in the four days she was there. All upsetting and difficult to deal with.

We know we have just got to do our best to keep her safe and as happy as possible...

On a positive note - well done Lizzie Yarnold - a gold medal for Britain! Brilliant!
