The weather forcast for today was not good (Gale force 10 gusts at the airport)

On the advice of my local colleagues we had booked a much earlier flight than usual, which was good as:

a) The flight was a real rollercoaster, and

b) It looks like many of the later flights were cancelled.

I got home safely.
