A garden of reflection.

On my way out of the hospital I came across this pretty little "Garden of Reflection" as I thought it ought to be called. This structure/art work, which ever you want to call it, reminded me of the vertebra in the spine......I wonder if that is what it is meant to represent? Unfortunately I didn't hang around too long to find out as it was pouring with rain.
