The Chop

Happy Valentine's Day :)

We don't 'do' valentine's day per se, though Dylan made us a cute card and we had some 'balentime's tea/cakes/puddings' after school.

Diddy had his hair chopped today. Rather pleased with it as I didn't want him to lose his curls but it just needed a tidy up, trimming out of his eyes and some layers putting in at the back where it was quite wild. Last time he had it cut it was a bit short and grown up looking. He was all excited until we got there, then froze and got scared...til she started and he realised it actually felt quite nice so eventually sat still and let her cut it. Treated him to a comic afterwards and it had a pirate compass on the front so he's been learning about N/S/E/W. He's also been helping daddy to fix his bike. Can you tell? Just look at the colour of his hands. Mucky pup.

Lily's had fun today. She had an earlier than normal nap which meant we had a bit of playtime together when D was in nursery. We made jelly, ice lollies and baked chocolate fudge cakes. Yum.
