The early bird

I drew the short straw last night and was up early to take my favourite daughter to school. I was greeted by this spectacular dawn, which segued gracelessly into an in-car French lesson in preparation for Megan's "controlled assessment" today.

In software we talk about the "last responsible moment" for doing something. It felt like Megz had exceeded that somewhat.

I got some things achieved through the day and then went for our annual "couple's night out" to celebrate something cupidiary to do with some geezer called Valent. Nice meal & they forgot to charge for the wine - but one of us is very honest ;)

Anyhoo, lovely drive back thru the slush listening to Cosmic Thing and it's time to play the early bird again, in time to get up & do it all again tomorrow.
