Closed

For a number of weeks the bridge over the Tyne in Corbridge has been closed daily between 9am and 3pm for maintenance to be carried out. This has meant that access into the village has been limited and buses routes badly affected. The shopkeepers in the village have been commenting on the effect on their businesses. However, given the bridge has stood for 340 years and in such good repair, it's pretty good going!
