Adnams jug

Back home but brought a little bit of Southwold (as well as some sand on the shoes!) This enamel jug was bought for me as a gift :)

Adnams is the brewery in the heart of Southwold and whether or not you like their beer (yuk!) the town would be a different place without it.
They have a lovely shop and cafe which is worth a visit especially if you can find a table in the copper houses.

We hope to return to Southwold, God willing in the summer. Having seen so much havoc caused by the wind and waves in recent days and weeks, we hope to see a more settled beach, sand dunes where they are supposed to be and not obliterating large parts of the promenade and repair to several sorry looking beach huts.

It was a delight to be there and how nice for the weather to have behaved for us yesterday :)
