Listening to Past Events

Grundig reel to reel tape recorder, bought to replace a Philips machine so I can transfer the original tape to the computer then CD..........Its fascinating listening to yourself....testing testing 123 from way back, the sound quality aint brilliant, but there are some real gems.....me as a kid trying to keep the family quiet on Christmas day while I tape Top of the Pops.......The Archies, Elvis and Chuck Berry....the tape snapped so will have to do some running repairs then resume tomorrow, the strange thing is that the tape snapped where it had been repaired a long time ago with Xmas decorated Cellotape..
