On the way home again.

Poppy was limping this morning, and when we had a good look at her, found she had rash all over her. So I rang the vets, and short story was that Poppy & I went with PJ in the boat to the Portage, where we got the van.
From here we drove out to town - this took an hour off the trip each way.
The vet said she has Atopic Dermatitis - there is quite a long list of things that may be causing this reaction; ie Dandelions!!
First we have decided to get her well again, and then do the tests to see what she is allergic to. So, new food, a anti-biotic injection & steroids, & weekly bath to get the pollen out of her fur.
It's an "inherited predisposition" .....so watch this space. I am on a learning curve here.
Took this photo as we were coming into Renwick on the way home. Was trying to get the misty ranges in the distance, ( I think they are the Richmond Ranges)
