This are my 2 big kids finishing off their part of the decorations on a float for the Geelong Collective Refugee Action Group. There is a multicultural festival in Geelong next weekend, and we are going to remind folk just how many refugees over time have added to the multiculturalism that we celebrate in Australia today. How can we celebrate when we do such illegal things to asylum seekers, contrary to the UNHCR resolutions? Especially as we're such early adoptets of the charter.
