Firey Fife

Went up to Loch Leven with Lal and Jon to see some birdies.. I'm not much of a twitcher, but it is usually a really peaceful place and watching the birds there is very relaxing. Usually. Today, we were sitting in one of the hides watching the birdses and had to endure a couple and their daughter yapping away at the tops of their voices. "Ooh its a duck, over there, left a bit, right a bit. Yippety yap...look at that buzzard" (it was a crow)

I took lots of blurry pics of geese and ducks. I need a faster tele lens. They weren't up to much as it was dull and I had to open right up and shoot at ISO800 and still the birdies kept blimmin moving.

Still, there was a gap in the clouds as we were leaving and I snapped the sunset on the way home. (this was taken at 70 mph from the motorway.) Phew all that effort and patience and then blips fly at you like fireballs...
