Reflecting...

It's the journey that really should have been more fun than it actually turned out. We headed up to Fort William for a wee day of snowboarding. Did you know that the Scottish ski resorts have actually got more snow than the winter olympics?

This was it's downfall.

Ironically, they had too much snow and coupled with a PisteBasher(those big caterpiller machines that push snow around and create flattened groomed ski runs) breakdown meant that their main arterial lift section was out of action for the morning. They reckoned it could have been opened after lunch but never materialised.

Give em credit, they did refund part of the ski pass tickets but it was a less than perfect situation for a day on the slopes.

That said. It was the company that made the day which kept things oiled inspite of a nasty traffic ridden journey on the way home.
