My beach hut

Last night the Christchurch area suffered at the hands of high winds and rain and seafronts with hide tides and large crashing waves.

One section of beach near to us was particularly hard hit with up to 80 beach huts significantly damaged, some completely destroyed. Our previous next door neighbours had a beach hut within that section of beach, and it made me wonder whether they will have a hut to enjoy this spring.

This is my beach hut. It was a gift from a special friend of mine, sent to me when we moved into our new house.
