The Great Tapestry of Scotland

Today we went into Aberdeen art gallery to look at the great tapestry of Scotland, I have heard a lot about it so I wanted to see it. My Mum did a little part of the Aberdeen panel. Lots of historic panels embroidered by people all over Scotland, google it if you want to find out more.

I took this photo from the hip and straightened it later. The reason is I was allowed to take photos in the gallery but not really supposed to in this exhibition. Fair enough......it was only a little shot so please don't tell. No flash was used and no panel harmed in the making of this blip

After this some lunch in a little Spanish cafe in Belmont street called "the beautiful Mountain". We've not been here before and just stumbled on it but I do recommend it, food yummy for lunch.

I can see I am now missing a lovely sunset but I can only see a very small part of it from the house, oh well.
