Gottwald AK912. ALE-Heavylift

At Carrington, Manchester building a new power station. This is a pedestal crane - i.e. with no wheels. It is carried around in pieces, on a low loader. The crane DID have a carrier with 10 axles but it burnt out in North Africa so ALE of Staffordshire rebuilt it minus the carrier, as a pedestal crane. It is a pretty old crane and was operated by Baldwins in the past.
