Floods again

It is hard to see where the river is and where the floods are. Most of this land is usually pasture. There are lots of stones on the roads and I picked up a small screen chip which I must get looked at next week.
Drove Ellie to an all day audition for the National Youth Theatre in Hereford and drove home. Was going in to pick her up - and some shoes from the menders for our trip to London tomorrow when I got a text . I waited tip I could stop , nearly at Hereford 20 miles from home. The text read ' Hi Julie , Emma here, you have locked Steve out he was in the garden when you went out can you come back!' Grrr! I was close to town so got the shoes and then had a text from Ellie to say she was going out with the drama lot and could I pick her up at 7 ( It was now 4.30) so drove back to Hay to let a cold but remarkably good natured Steve in and stopped - very briefly honest- to take a couple of blips of the floods.
