Caffeine o'clock

After a manic week and a wild Friday night - weather-wise not socially, sadly - the weekend is time for some R&R and domestic catch-up. What a night it was, invoking chilling memories of the great storm of 16 October 1987.

This morning the main road near us was blocked off by police while a gale-damaged tree in a dangerous condition was felled, so all the traffic was temporarily diverted down our road for a few hours.

I couldn't resist blipping the lovely mix of colours that greeted me on opening a new box of coffee capsules. I confess to being a bit of a coffee-holic. Any time is caffeine o'clock!
