Swan lake...or rather, river

It was -7 when we woke up this morning, but the sun was shining brightly, and there was no wind, as days go here, they don´t get much nicer. We decided to go to Reykjavik, do some shopping, have lunch somewhere and then take a walk along the river in our old neighbourhood. I was surprised to see that the swans were still there, I thought they went somewhere else in winter. The 4 babies are as big as the parents now, although they are still a bit greyer and their beaks are not as yellow.

Tonight is supposed to be prime Northern lights viewing, I might have to stay awake past midnight to get a picture to post tomorrow!
