Having bananas for snack

Astroman and I spent last weekend in the Golden Triangle, the Northernmost part of Thailand, enjoying views over three countries, Thailand, Laos and Burma. We stayed at a very nice resort which has an elephant camp too. Many of the elephants at the camp have been rescued together with their mahouts from the streets of Bangkok. In the photo, Astroman is feeding a 23 year-old elephant mother. It was amazing how she managed to peel the bananas in few seconds! Beautiful animals!
