Autumn on the roof, winter on the windscreen

I think this was the first time this year that the wipers made that horrible "scritch scritch" sound as they tried in vain to clear the frozen windscreen. Brrrrrrrrrr. Now, where did I put that scraper from last year?

Almost makes you nostalgic for the days when you'd have cassette cases in the car.
